I am an essayist, journalist, and educator. I graduated from the Nonfiction Writing Program at the University of Iowa in 2018, where I received numerous awards for my writing. I currently teach writing, reading, public speaking, and critical thinking to graduate and undergraduate students through the Rhetoric Department at the UI.
My writing has been published by The Iowa Review, Entropy, the UNESCO Cities of Literature Project, and is forthcoming in Guesthouse. I presented my pedagogical research at the Annual Conference on the First-Year Experience in 2020.
I am originally from a small town in western Pennsylvania called Zelienople. I am currently writing an essayistic memoir that takes place there. The project is about female rage and what it means to understand the love you come from.
